With each passing day, humanity is closer to space than previously thought possible, thanks to efforts by two of the world’s richest men with an amazing plan for the future, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

The two inventors are taking two different but complementary paths towards achieving their goals.

Musk founded SpaceX to achieve his goal of putting humanity in space, especially, Mars. The great tech mogul and inventor behind Space X and Tesla has the goal of turning Mars into a permanent place of residence for humans.

Musk came up with a brilliant idea that will support his dream of landing people in Mars. He created Mars Oasis, a spacecraft he wanted to send into Mars. He pledged $20 million to that course. When he later found out he couldn’t achieve that with a meager $20 million, he created SpaceX to achieve his goal.

Bezos also has a history of passion for space. As a high school student, he gave a moving valedictorian speech where he expressed his desire to have people living in space. In his closing speech, he said: “Space, the final frontier, meet me there!”

Bezos has been working towards achieving this goal. He founded Blue Origin in 2000 to make his dream come true. According to him, Blue Origin will land in space in 2024 and carry along with it payloads for space exploration.

Both inventors are working towards making space habitable for people and turn the Earth into a tourist attraction.
