Eager fans were quick to react before delving into Stause’s detailed Instagram post.

Chrishell Stause recently stirred excitement among her fans with an unexpected social media post!

The 42-year-old star of Selling Sunset took to Instagram on Saturday, sharing a captivating behind-the-scenes photo where she sported a prosthetic baby bump. This throwback selfie, where Stause tenderly cradled the faux bump, was actually from the set of her latest Lifetime movie, You’re Not Supposed To Be Here.

However, it appears that many fans missed the context in their rush to congratulate her, thinking she was announcing a real pregnancy.

“The way I SCREAMED!! Don’t tease me like that 😭😭😭😭,” commented Francesca Farago, another Netflix sensation.

“Congrats! You’re going to be a mom!!!” exclaimed one fan, while another expressed overjoyed sentiments, “Omg!!!!! So so sooo happy for you!!! I can’t believe you guys did it! So happy and proud!!!!!!”

In her post, which many overlooked, Stause clarified that the image was a late upload due to the SAG-AFTRA strike constraints.

“You’re Not Supposed To Be Here is available on the @lifetimetv app, Hulu, Sling, & Philo, depending on your provider!” she informed. “Huge thanks to everyone who watched! Your support was incredible, especially since I couldn’t promote it due to the strike. You guys are amazing! 🙏🏼🥹🥰♥️”

Following the selfie, Stause shared the film’s official poster, with its premiere set for Monday.

The movie narrates the tale of “pregnant lesbian couple Zoe (Chrishell Stause) and Kennedy (Diora Baird)” who encounter unexpected challenges during a cabin retreat. The synopsis from Lifetime’s website indicates the couple faces resistance from locals due to their same-sex relationship, leading to unforeseen events.

Given Stause’s recent nuptials to musician G Flip in May, fans might have jumped to conclusions about the couple expecting.

“Love doesn’t always go as planned… Sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” Stause captioned an Instagram Reel, showcasing her and G Flip, 30, in marital bliss.

She included “Be Your Man,” a song G Flip wrote for her, underscoring their unique love story.

“They found unexpected love, but it’s the most genuine they’ve ever felt,” shared a source with us.

Reflecting on her new life with G Flip, Stause said, “Our holiday traditions are evolving. We’re celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas in Australia, away from the cold, and visiting my family when it’s warmer.”

This rewrite maintains the structure of the original article, adding a more engaging, detailed narrative to enhance the story around Stause’s social media post and her recent personal developments.
