It’s official – Monica Vaswani and Rish Karam are engaged! The ‘Family Karma’ stars took to Instagram to share their joyous news with fans, accompanied by heartwarming photos from their romantic proposal.

Monica, 31, couldn’t contain her excitement as she posted on Nov. 11, “We found our way. True love is learning, growing and never giving up. We were blessed to be surrounded by incredible friends & family who supported us each step of the way. Our hearts are so full and I’m over the moon to share our engagement with you 🤍.”

The photos showcased a magical moment where Karam, 29, got down on one knee in a timeless proposal, with Monica looking stunning in a white dress. Their happiness radiated as they sealed the moment with a kiss and a heartfelt embrace.

Rish expressed his elation in a heartfelt Instagram post, saying, “I’m beyond blessed & grateful to call you my best friend, soulmate, & now MY FIANCÉ! Your zest for life, beautiful smile, & pure heart are just a few reasons why I’m so lucky to be doing life with you. I’m so excited for this next chapter of our lives! Cheers to all the adventures life has planned for us, love you baby girl 💍🍾.”

The lovebirds were showered with congratulatory messages from their co-stars and fans alike. Amrit Kapai exclaimed, “Yessss!!!! 😍😍😍 so happy for you two! Congrats! 🥂,” while Bali Chainani humorously added, “I’m choreographing the dances!!!”

Monica’s father, Raj Vaswani, shared his joy, “I am so happy for the both of you! My baby is engaged and I’m getting a son! May God shower you both with endless love and happiness! ❤️.”

Season 3 of ‘Family Karma’ had its share of drama, with Monica navigating through rumors of Rish’s infidelity, which he strongly denied. The season also touched on Monica’s personal hopes of being engaged by the age of 30, a milestone she thought she’d achieve with Rish. “It was going to be before 30,” she reflected. “It just got pushed to 31.”

Monica and Rish, who joined the cast in season 2, have a history that dates back to their childhood, marking their journey as something truly special.

While ‘Family Karma’ is currently on a break, fans remain hopeful for its return. As Frances Berwick of NBCUniversal stated, “In my heart of hearts, I believe we will bring it back at some point.”
