The journey that began 12 years ago sees a chapter closing in December 2022 for the once united ‘GMA3’ co-anchor and his attorney wife.

The curtains have closed on T.J. Holmes and Marilee Fiebig’s marriage as they finalize their divorce. The pair have come to terms, marking an end to their 12-year matrimonial journey.

New York County Supreme Court has stamped its approval on the certificate of dissolution of their marriage. Holmes, 46, once the face of GMA3: What You Need to Know, and Fiebig, a formidable attorney at 45, have now parted ways, according to the Los Angeles Times.

As scanned through online records, a court appearance scheduled for January 9, 2024, caught their attention. However, a response from the ex-couple’s attorneys remains pending.

Fast-forward ten months prior, and we find Holmes and Fiebig, parents to their precious 10-year-old daughter Sabine, initiating the divorce process. This decision followed the revelation of Holmes’ romance with former colleague Amy Robach.

In the midst of transitions, a source enlightened the nature of Robach and Holmes’ relationship, emphasizing their status as “two consenting adults who were each separated” when their paths romantically converged. The narrative unfolds with Robach, still the legal spouse of actor Andrew Shue, although they’ve been living separate lives since 2022.

“They turned the page on their previous chapters simultaneously, giving birth to a new beginning together,” commented an insider.

Amidst the whirlwind, ABC News witnessed the departure of both Robach and Holmes following an in-depth review of their professional conduct. The organization’s president, Kim Godwin, highlighted their off-air status during an internal review, leading to the rotation of anchors in the interim.

A representative of ABC shared, “In the wake of engaging dialogues, the consensus pointed towards a new direction for both Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes away from ABC News. We acknowledge their unwavering dedication and contributions over the years.”

As the revelations of their bond made headlines, a social media hiatus ensued for both Holmes and Robach, with their Instagram pages going dark. A revival of online presence saw Robach sharing an enigmatic post – a monochromatic snapshot of two pairs of matching running shoes, heralding a silent announcement of their participation in the #nycmarathon2023.

Their passion for running, a shared interest, threads their lives together, perhaps signaling a stride into new beginnings, hand in hand.
