Joining in on the festive spirit, the renowned hosts of NBC’s morning show, “Today”, pulled off a spectacular Halloween display this year.

The Halloween edition of the “Today” show was a musical treat. Keeping up with their yearly Halloween tradition, the hosts embraced the spirit of iconic music legends, lighting up the studio with their presence.

Guiding the viewers through this musical journey was Kelly Clarkson, positioning the hosts as stars in her famous karaoke segment. “Welcome to the ultimate Kellyoke sing-along,” she announced, making a nod to her neighboring show at 30 Rockefeller Center.

Kicking off the performances, Carson Daly channeled his inner Neil Diamond with a rendition of “Sweet Caroline.” Following him was Craig Melvin, who donned parachute pants and grooved to MC Hammer’s classic, “U Can’t Touch This.”

The transformation of Dylan Dreyer into the pop star Pink left many astounded. She swayed to Pink’s chartbuster, “Raise Your Glass.” Meanwhile, Willie Geist’s take on Harry Styles was uncannily accurate, mirroring Styles’ look from a summer performance at the Today Plaza.

Next, the spotlight was on the duo of Laura Jarrett and Peter Alexander, who dazzled as the power couple, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. Their performance of “Happy Anywhere” not only won viewers’ hearts but also received a nod from Shelton. “Fantastic job, folks! You looked and sounded amazing. Happy Halloween!” he cheered.

The iconic ’70s duo, Sonny and Cher, was brought to life by Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb. Their playful rendition of “I Got You, Babe” was a hit.

Continuing the musical spree, Al Roker grooved as Lionel Richie, followed by Sheinelle Jones’ striking portrayal of Diana Ross singing “I’m Coming Out.” Wrapping up the performances, Savannah Guthrie channeled Taylor Swift, delivering a mesmerizing performance of “Cruel Summer” with a surprise guest – her daughter, Vale. As the hosts rejoined on stage, the atmosphere was electric. “That was absolutely epic!” exclaimed Kotb.

Throwing back to the previous year, the hosts had embraced the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. Geist transformed into Elvis Presley, while Roker paid tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. Jenna Bush Hager’s Celine Dion was a standout, especially her rendition of β€œIt’s All Coming Back to Me Now.”

Showcasing their versatility, Kotb and Guthrie wowed as Cirque du Soleil artists, even showcasing some stunts. A year prior, the theme was NFL Super Bowl, with the hosts donning the avatars of football legends and performers like The Weeknd and Bruno Mars.

The “Today” show’s Halloween extravaganza is a testament to the hosts’ commitment to entertainment. Their tireless efforts and rehearsals culminate in this grand Halloween spectacle, bringing joy to viewers every year. Tune into “Today” live on NBC and its app to join in on the fun.
